This varies depending on which person you talk to. We'll go by Julie's story 1. because she is writing this and 2. because it's the right.
Back in the fall of 2004, Julie caught a ride down to Columbus with a girl in one of her fashion classes. The girl was going to visit a friend from high school [Jeremy(groomsman) who lived with Nic and Shawn(groomsman)] that went to OSU and Julie had nothing else to do... so she tagged along.
Now keep in mind, Julie was SUPER cool back in those days. She had just dyed her hair black after being blonde all summer and rocked her high school letterman jacket... because that's what cool kids in college do.
On the way up to the guys 3rd floor apartment, Nic passed by Julie without saying much... he was off to see the girl he was dating down at Ohio University. That night, Julie slept in Nic's bed. Not in a creepy way... It was more a hes-not-here-and-its-available-man-I-hope-these-sheets-are-clean way. And that was that.
Flash forward a year.
Julie now lives with the girl from her fashion class. Upon mention of a school girl themed party (which was actually a prom themed party that we rebelled against) Nic invited himself up to Kent.
This is where Nic's version of us meeting starts.
Julie is now blonde, tan and wearing a school girl uniform. The poor kid didn't have a chance.
"Who's that?" he asked their mutual friend.
"You mean Julie? You've met her before."
"Nah. I don't think I have. I'm pretty sure I would remember if I had"
Throughout the rest of Julie's college years, Nic would come up to visit her roommate hoping for Julie to show interest. Her roommate would often tell Nic that it was OK to sleep in Julie's bed... whether she was in it or not.
After graduating, Julie moved out to LA. Within 3 months, she moved back to Columbus. Nic heard the news and devised a plan to FINALLY make Julie interested. It worked.
